When i was using the 3.2 codes for the sd loader, i removed the sd (while making sure no music was streaming) and plugged it in to my computer to put on some new textures. when i put it back in the wii, nothing was loading off the sd card except for what was already loaded. i turned off the wii and plugged it into my computer to realize that all of my files weren't there. all there was was a file called ARC, and it was 1 kb. my bro didn't listen to me and formated the sd card so i don't have that ARC file, though i just wanted to ask if its safe to remove the SD card while the game is running with the 3.4(or 3.5) codes.
also, i'm not sure if i posted this in the right place, so if it isnt in the right place, can an admin move it?

Removing it while playing is obviously never a good idea. For music, it normally reverts to some random song off of the Wii to continue playing. Just as though you were writing files to the SD card on your computer - removing it prematurely can delete/corrupt files. Same goes for your Wii. If you're on the character select screen (with no custom music as your menu, of course), and your SD card is essentially doing nothing - you may remove it with a MUCH less risk of losing anything. It's just like your card reader and your computer's relationship.

Thanks Dude, that actually makes me feel much better knowing that it was most likely my computer, since i made sure the wii wasn't writing any files. this will make what i do much easier since i wont have to reset the wii each time. Again, Thanks !

Another note related to this: If your game freezes during loading then there's also a chance of files vanishing.
