Wii Update 4.1

Yesterday, Nintendo released Wii System Menu 4.1 worldwide. It fixes a glitch for Japanese Wii Sports Resort players that forces them to watch a tutorial several times. I want to know what effects this has on HBC. I´ve heard it makes it impossible to install, but I´m not certain. Also, if you upgrade and you already have HBC, do you keep it and will it still work? Will there be a new Bannerbomb-ish approach? What is the future of HBC survival?!

Version 4.1 of the System Menu for the Nintendo Wii was built on June 24th, 2009 and released on July 3rd, 2009 in Japan, and released in America and Europe on July 15th, 2009.
Apparrently, there is a bugfix whereby if a VC/WiiWare game is played from SD, and then Wii Sports Resort is played, it forces you to watch the motionplus tutorial, although it was meant to be only watched once, on the first run.

HCCJ is a japan exclusive channel. Someone else can explain what, I don't want to look through my logs.
Apparently named "Set Personal Data" from what I can see, and is a hidden channel.

Nothing has been broken with this update, bannerbomb works fine, using the hackmii installer to install the likes of the HBC is fine, so no need to worry.

Waninko has released one of his partial updates, should you want or need the bug fix.

All I know is that legit or not, updating to 4.1 WILL REMOVE preloader (if installed), and quite possibly affect SoftMii users. Homebrew Channel is left intact.

4.1 is practically 4.0, and since there really isn't any special reason to update, why do so? Take note of the "behind the scenes" update. Might be more to it than a simple glitch fix.
