This forum skin is still in progress, however you can still view it by modifying your profile, select skin type and switch it from default to Meow Mix Style. Idk if you'll like it yet but if you do good, if you don't you can always switch back to default.

I like it, but it starts looping at the bottom of the page for me. Make a larger picture or a longer one so this doesn't happen on most screens.
It really aggravates me when a picture really obviously loops near the bottom of a page.
Also, instead of having the textboxes be blue / white, try mixing with blue and gray, black, green, or something. But most certainly keep this blue. It is gud.

Alright, I've done some modifications to the global header and footers (Dapuffster, just shoot me if you think anything I did is retarded. You're the forum master here.)
The color scheme is still pretty wrong - but it's coming along. I mainly only edited the global h & f to accommodate for our background picture. (Also, the bg pic is being hosted at tinypic, and that's where I've redirected the forum's pic to. Our bandwidth would die very quickly if we directly linked it to the meowmix one.  )
-Repeating is gone from the bg, and it's now centered.
-I've pulled the same trick we did on the main site, and just made the background black so everything just kind of blends into utter and complete nothingness. heh.
That freaking welcome box at the top is really out of place... Not sure what we're going to do with that one. See below.
[updated May 4th 11:39pm]: Transparented that dirty ol' welcome box at the top.
Next hurdles:
-Darken the Boards. Check (could use touch-ups. Watch for crappy colors while browsing)
-Move the "home, help, search etc" bar down into our MeowMix black bar with have right below it. Check.
-Change links color to different color of blue.
-Move welcome box to the right so text shows up against lighter part of the MeowMix background. Check.
-Move overall layout down a smidgit to give some breathing space to the black bar up top.
Check.
[updated May 5th 12:04am]: Lefted the menu bar. (Home, help, etc).
[updated May 5th 12:52am]: Moved down the menu bar far enough. Applied black border to blend in with background nicely. Undid this. Found new way to make it look much more accurate.
[updated May 5th 1:28am]: After much trial and error, the title of the boards is gone. Yay!
-The "home" thing under the title of the boards is also gone.
-I've also "righted" the PMs messages, as well as the time/date.
I'm considering just removing the time/date. Anyone gonna cry to see it go? It kind of crosses over with the Cat's ears.
[updated May 5th 2:10am]: Oh YES. I got that stupid menu bar transparent. That looks MUCH better. We really should make our own icons for that home, help, search, etc.
Ok, going to bed.
[updated May 5th 8:29am]: Redid the color design. It's VERY close... but something is missing. I'm excited for that animated banner crap to go on.

Hooray - I've been approved by the forums master! ~ Cruise around and see if any colors look completely out of place. Man, I have way too much fun at 3am. 
[Edit]: I just barely took a peek at the layout with internet explorer, and realized... there's a big ugly ad at the top of the layout that pushed everything down. It's been so long since I've been beyond my safe bubble of firefox + adblock, that I'd hardly noticed.
I'll look into a script that can have that piece of @)$( removed.

Well, appearantly removing that ad gets you into some sort of crazy trouble... so forget it I guess. Heh. We'll just have to recommend firefox+adblock to everybody... (or to at least the 7 people that aren't already using that combination).

Sadly I'm one of those 7. Google Chrome FTW!
Anyhow, I like the skin so far. The only thing I'd say is that when I scroll down, the background becomes completely black until the bottom, so you might want to spice that up a bit.

I don't mind it that much... I kind of like how it fades.
But right now the gray and blue color scheme is epic win. Great job.
Will have that new banner up in a giffy.

Yeah, I kind of admired that orange/black look of the Stack community - but you're right, this looks cleaner I think.
