Truth be told this is my anthem. My heart and Soul. My very point of existence. (kinda, probably would have added Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Journey, Aerosmith, Stone Temple Pilots etc.)

I agree. Except Nirvana... Can't STAND their music. All the songs sound the same, and you can't understand a word they are saying.

I agree with what you're saying, though I have some bands I prefer more. There are a lot of good current bands though (at least in the genre I like) they're just semi-indie. There's Sufjan Stevens, The Shins, The Decemberists, etc.

You have a point there. When it plays on the radio, I confuse his voice for static. (though he sounds crystal clear unplugged)
